(Solo) And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold And if you listen very hard The truth will come to you at last When all are one and one is all To be a rock and not to roll And she's buying a stairway To heaven...     반짝이는 건 모두 금이라고 믿는 소녀가 있습니다. 그녀는 천국으로 가는 계단을 사려고 하지요.  그녀는 천국에 가기만 하면 모든 상점이 문을 닫았을 지라도, 그녀가 구하고 싶은 것은 다 구할 수 있다고 알고 있어요.  우우, 그녀는 천국으로 가는 계단을 사려고 합니다.  벽에 표시가 붙어 있지만 그녀는 확인하고 싶어해요. 말은 때로는 두 가지의 뜻을 가지고 있기도 하니까요.  시냇가 나뭇가지 위에서 새들이 노래할 때, 우리는 때때로 불안을 느끼기도 하지요.  우, 신비롭네요. 그것은 나를 경이롭게 하네요.  서쪽 하늘을 바라볼 때 내게 느낌이 와요. 내 영혼은 헤어짐을 아쉬워하며 울고 있어요.  내 생각에는 나무들 사이에서 피어 오르는 반지 모양의 담배연기를 본 것 같아요.  서서 그것을 보고 있는 사람들의 소리도.  우. 신비롭네요. 진정 경이롭기만 하네요.  우리 모두 음률을 노래하면 곧 이어 속삭임이 따라와요. 파이프 연주자가 그 이유를 알려주지요.  오래 동안 서 있는 사람들에게도 새로운 날이 밝아 오겠지요. 그러면 숲은 웃음소리로 메아리칠 거예요. 오. 울타리에서 바스락 소리가 난다고 해도 놀라지 마세요. 5월의 여왕을 맞기 위해 봄이 청소를 하는 것이니까요.  당신이 가는 길은 두 갈래 길입니다. 그러나 오래 달리다 보면 당신이 가야 할 길을 바꿀 수 있는 시간이 있을 거예요.  신비롭네요.  당신 머리는 계속 콧노래를 부르지만 당신이 모른다면 사라지겠죠. 파이프 연주자가 당신을 그와 함께 하자고 부르고 있어요.  소녀여, 당신은 바람 소리를 들을 수 있나요. 속삭이는 바람 속에 계단이 있는걸 아시나요. 길 위 아래로 구부러지면 우리 그림자는 우리 영혼보다 키가 커지죠. 저기 우리가 아는 소녀가 걷고 있네요. 누가 하얀 빛을 비추어 그녀를 인도할까요. 어떻게 모든 게 여전히 금으로 변할까요. 열심히 귀 기울여 보면 당신도 결국 그 소리를 들을 수 있을 겁니다. 모두가 하나되고 하나가 모두가 될 때 Roll이 아니라 Rock이 되지요.  소녀는 천국으로 가는 계단을 사려고 하네요     레드제플린은 1970년대에 전성기를 누린 영국의 록그룹입니다. 강렬한 현대적 사운드를 특징으로 하며 1968년 당대 최고의 그룹이었던 "야드버즈'(Yardbirds)"를 모체로 구성원은 리드기타의 지미 페이지(Jimmy Page), 리드보컬 겸 하모니카의 로버트 플랜트(Robert Plant), 베이스겸 키보드의 존 폴 존스(John Pual Jones), 드럼의 존 보넘(John Bonham)등 4명입니다. 오늘의 곡인 "Stairway to Heaven"은 1971년도 레드제플린4집에 수록되었는데 간단하면서도 아름다운 멜로디로 시작하며 중반이후에는 폭발적인 가창력과 연주등... 이곡은 들으면 들을수록 그 깊은 맛이 점점 더해지는것 같습니다.
